Fedora 10 on Hyper-V - Kernel Panic

Kernel panic – not syncing: Out of memory and no killable processes

This error seems to happen below 1024MB RAM for me. To fix this issue add more then 1024MB of RAM. From what I found the RAM specs for Fedora 10 are 512 but I can’t get it to run that low.

Memory requirements for x86_64
  • Minimum RAM for text-mode: 256MiB

  • Minimum RAM for graphical: 384MiB

  • Recommended RAM for graphical: 512MiB
